Nail Extensions
Gel Extensions
Gel extensions use soft or hard gel cured under UV or LED light to sculpt longer, stronger nails with a durable, glossy finish.
Practical Work: Gel Extensions
Prep the nails by cleaning, filing, and buffing. Apply a base coat, cure, sculpt the gel, cure each layer, then file, shape, and finish with a top coat and final cure.

Refill and Removal of Gel Extensions
For refills, buff the old gel, apply new gel to the regrowth area, and cure; for removal, soak in acetone or file off the gel without damaging the natural nail.
Acrylic Extensions
Acrylic extensions use a liquid monomer and powdered polymer to form a malleable bead, applied and shaped on the nail before naturally hardening for a strong extension.
Practical Work:
To apply acrylic extensions, prep the nails, attach tips or forms, create and shape the acrylic bead, allow it to harden, and finish by filing and buffing for a smooth look.

Refill and Removal of Acrylic Extensions

A technique where nails are coated with resin or base coat, dipped into powder, and sealed for a durable finish.
